Called Rock Shox and they told me to take it in to a local shop. Kinda lame with a fork that has maybe 50 miles on it. I have read some issues about hydrolock, but anything else notorious about this fork that could be causing this? There can be a number of reasons why a Rockshox Reverb dropper post or fork lockout can stop working, but the most basic reason is air in the remote and hose. I put everything back together and it worked fine except the lockout was acting up. At first the lockout did not work and then after a couple days of sitting it began working. The directions call for me to turn the hex knob under the lockout switch (no pop lock) all the way counter clockwise and then set the knob to 3-O'clock and that should do it.

Rear shock lockout not working. I have a RockShox Deluxe RT and the blue lockout switch no longer does anything. It used to provide a much stiffer ride when locked (not full lockout), but now there is no difference.

Please know the lockout setting on most RockShox forks is not a “hard lockout”- meaning you will have about an inch of movement when the fork is the locked mode. We call this feature Small Bump Compliance, and the intention is that the wheel will continue to track over ground with control, even in the locked setting.
