GDPR is a new set of EU guidelines governing how organisations like schools handle personal data. The new regulations have replaced the current Data Protection Act (DPA) and will be legally enforced from 25 May 2018.. In our other guides, we tell you how GDPR will affect your school and how to become compliant.. The aim of this guide is to give you a basic overview of GDPR.
